What a Flat Rate Taxi Actually Means
A flat rate taxi is one where the price is agreed before the car moves and nothing is added afterwards. That is what every figure in our airport taxi rates means. No meter running while you sit on the Deegan. No multiplier because it is five in the morning or raining. No fuel surcharge, no airport fee, no waiting charge if the flight lands late.
Flat rate car service works the same way for a booked trip as it does for one you need now. Booking ahead buys certainty about the time, not a better price, because the airport taxi rates do not surge in the first place.
The airport taxi rates on this page are built from one formula: a Tarrytown base fare plus three dollars a mile out to your town, rounded to the nearest ten. Going south towards the city, Kennedy and LaGuardia stay at the Tarrytown price because those towns are already closer to the airport.
- Quoted before the car leaves, never after
- Tolls included in every figure
- Same price at 4am as at 4pm
- Both directions, same rate
- Flight tracked on every airport booking
- No waiting charge for a delayed landing
How You Pay — and the One Charge That Is Not in the Table
The airport taxi rates published here are the whole fare when you settle in cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or by check. There is one exception, and we would rather you read it here than hear it at the end of the trip.
You pay exactly the figure in the airport taxi rates table. Nothing is added, in either direction, at any hour.
Card payments carry a flat $10 service charge to cover the processing fee. It is $10 on a $55 run to HPN and $10 on a $230 run to Newark — it does not scale with the fare.
Tell the dispatcher how you plan to pay when you book and the total is settled there and then. Beyond that one card charge, the airport taxi rates do not move with the payment method. No card is kept on file, and there is no app, no sign-up and no account to open.
Flat Rate Airport Taxi — Every New York Airport We Run
Five airports, one rate card. The airport taxi rates make Westchester County the cheapest run on the board, often less than a week of long-stay parking. Teterboro is the one that surprises people — it is the second-closest airport we serve, ahead of LaGuardia.
- HPN — Westchester County. From $55. Ten road miles from Tarrytown, twenty minutes east on 287.
- TEB — Teterboro. From $130. Twenty-four miles, private aviation, FBO pickup by name.
- LGA — LaGuardia. From $130. Twenty-seven miles, the early business departures.
- JFK — Kennedy. From $140. Thirty-nine miles, the longest run and the one people ask about most.
- EWR — Newark Liberty. From $150. Forty miles over the Mario Cuomo Bridge, every toll inside the number.

How Much Is a Taxi to the Airport? — Rate FAQs
Every question below is one people actually type before they call. The answers use the same airport taxi rates as the table.
How much is a taxi to JFK from Westchester?
From $140 across southern and central Westchester, up to $220 from the far north of the county. Tarrytown is $140, White Plains $160, Ossining $160, Yonkers $140, Peekskill $200. Tolls are already inside the figure, and the airport taxi rates are the same price in both directions.
How much is a taxi to LaGuardia?
From $130 in Tarrytown and across the south of the county, rising to $210 from the northern towns. LaGuardia is twenty-seven road miles from Tarrytown, so it is a shorter run than Kennedy and priced accordingly.
How much is a taxi to Newark airport?
From $150 in Tarrytown up to $230 from the far north. Everything crosses the Mario Cuomo Bridge and heads down the Turnpike, and every toll on that route is already in the number you are quoted.
Is there a surcharge for paying by card?
Yes — a flat $10 service charge, and it is the only thing added to the published airport taxi rates. Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App and check all settle at exactly the figure in the table. The dispatcher tells you before you agree to the fare.
Can I book by text or WhatsApp?
Yes. Text or message the same number, tell us the town, the airport and the time, and you get the flat figure back in writing. A person reads it around the clock, the same as the phone.
What is the taxi flat rate to JFK?
A taxi flat rate to JFK means one figure agreed before the car moves, with no meter and no surge. Ours starts at $140 and is set by your pickup town, not by traffic, weather or the time of day.
What is the taxi cost to JFK if my flight is delayed?
Unchanged. The driver tracks the flight and adjusts to the new landing time. There is no waiting charge and the taxi cost to JFK stays exactly what you were quoted.
Is car service to JFK price different from a taxi?
No. Same car, same driver, same figure. Our car service and airport taxi rates are identical here — the difference is only whether you book ahead or ask for a car now.
How much is a taxi to Westchester County Airport?
From $55 in Tarrytown, rising with distance to about $140 from the northern edge of the county. HPN is ten road miles from Tarrytown and is usually cheaper than leaving a car in the long stay for a week.
How much is car service to Teterboro?
From $130 in Tarrytown to $210 from the far north. Teterboro is twenty-four road miles away, which makes it closer than LaGuardia.
Are these airport taxi rates really flat?
Yes. The figure on this page is what is quoted on the phone and what you hand over. No surge multiplier, no meter, no fuel surcharge, no airport fee. Tolls are included. The only addition is the $10 card service charge.
Do the rates change at night or in bad weather?
No. Four in the morning in a snowstorm costs the same as four in the afternoon in June. The airport taxi rates do not move with the clock or the weather, and that is when they are worth the most.
Is there a charge for extra bags or a larger vehicle?
Tell the dispatcher how many people and how many bags when you book. If it needs an SUV or a van that is quoted upfront, not discovered at the kerb.
My town is not on the list.
Call and we will quote it. The table covers the forty-eight towns we run most often, but our airport taxi rates do not stop at the county line.
