JFK Car Service from Westchester — Flat Rate, Tolls Included
Every price we charge to Kennedy is published on this page, town by town. The figure you read is the figure you pay — agreed before the car moves, identical coming home, and unchanged if your flight is three hours late.
Car Service to JFK — What It Costs from Your Town
Most operators will not tell you what car service to JFK costs until you hand over your details, and the ones who publish a figure attach a disclaimer saying it may not be what you actually pay. We take the opposite position. All forty-eight rates are below, they are flat, and they include every toll between your door and the terminal.
The pricing is built on one rule: a Tarrytown base fare plus three dollars a mile out to your town, rounded to the nearest ten. Towns in the south of the county pay the Tarrytown price to Kennedy, because they are already closer to it than we are.
Paying by cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or check settles the figure above; card adds $10. The other four airports are on the airport taxi rates page.
You ask three companies what a car to Kennedy costs and not one of them will say a number.
You get an estimate that arrives with a disclaimer, or a quote that depends on the traffic, the hour and the terminal, or an app fare that looks fine on Tuesday afternoon and doubles at five on a Monday morning. So you cannot compare anybody, and you find out what the journey really cost at the moment you are hauling a suitcase onto the kerb at Terminal 4 with a flight to catch. The one time you needed the price to be predictable is the one time nobody would commit to it.
We published all forty-eight of them above. Read your town, ring us, and that is the number — on the day, at four in the morning, in the snow, and again on the way home.
JFK Airport Transportation — Terminals 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8
Kennedy is eight terminals spread around a loop road, and which one you want changes where the car should stop and how long the last mile takes. Departing, we set you down at the departures level of your airline’s terminal, not at a general drop-off you then have to walk from. Tell us the airline when you book and the driver has it before he leaves.
Coming back, JFK is stricter than the other airports about where private cars may wait, so we do not guess. Your driver texts you the exact door and column number to walk to once you have your bags, and waits in the authorised area rather than circling. If you would rather be met inside at baggage claim, say so on the call and we will arrange it.
The overnight cover is real. Kennedy runs departures from before five in the morning and takes landings past midnight, and both are ordinary bookings for us at the same published price as a Tuesday lunchtime.
Car Service to JFK Airport — The Van Wyck and Your Real Travel Time
From most of Westchester the drive is between fifty minutes and an hour and a half, and almost all of the variation happens in the last six miles. The route runs down the Hutchinson or the Major Deegan, across the Whitestone or the Throgs Neck, and then onto the Van Wyck Expressway, which is the single least predictable stretch of road on the whole journey.
What that means in practice: a driver who has done it this week knows whether to take the Hutch or the Deegan at that hour, and knows the Van Wyck will not forgive a late start. We build the cushion in when we set your pickup rather than hoping. Because the rate is flat, sitting in traffic costs you nothing extra — there is no meter running while the Van Wyck decides what it is doing.
North county adds genuine time. From Peekskill, Katonah or North Salem you are looking at the far end of that range before traffic, which is why those bookings usually leave earlier than people expect.
The 6am departure out of Kennedy is the booking people get wrong. Working back from a six o’clock flight with two hours at the airport and an hour and a quarter on the road, a car from Ossining leaves at about 2:45 in the morning. That is not a comfortable sum to do yourself at eleven the night before, so we do it for you on the call and tell you the time.
- 1Give us the flight, not a timeWe work backwards from your departure and tell you when the car comes.
- 2The price is said out loudBefore dispatch, on the call. One figure, tolls in.
- 3It arrives in writingPickup, time and price by text, so nothing rests on memory.
- 4A named driver takes itYou are told who has it, not that a job has been posted.
- 5The flight is watchedLanding late moves the pickup and changes nothing else.
- 6You are told the car is thereA message on arrival, and your address is saved for next time.
The standard Kennedy run. Two travelling with a case each is comfortable.
Extra luggage, ski bags, or anyone who would rather not climb down into a sedan at 3am.
Families flying together, or a group going out and coming back on the same booking.
- Car seats provided at no charge and fitted in advance
- Atendemos en español a cualquier hora
- Tolls sit inside the figure, not on top of it
- Standing accounts for anyone flying weekly
- Cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App or check pay the quoted figure; card adds $10

Car Service JFK to Westchester — Meeting Your Flight
The return is the half people leave to chance, and it is the half that goes wrong. You land at eleven at night after a delay, open an app, and discover the price has moved or that nothing wants to drive sixty miles north out of Queens at that hour.
Booked with us, the car is already assigned before you take off. We watch the flight, so a two-hour delay moves your pickup and nothing else — no waiting charge, no rebooking, no change to the price you agreed. The fare from Kennedy back to your town is identical to the fare going down.
Tell the dispatcher whether you are checking bags. If you are, we time the meet for after the carousel rather than after landing, which is usually the difference between a calm arrival and a driver circling the terminal loop. If you need a car at no notice rather than a booking made in advance, the Westchester taxi board covers the same towns on the same rates.

JFK Airport Transfer — Quick Answers
How early should I get to JFK?
Two hours before a domestic departure and three before international is the standard advice, and Kennedy is busy enough that it is worth taking seriously. Tell us the flight time when you book and we work the pickup back from it, including the drive and the cushion, so you are not doing that arithmetic yourself.
How much does car service to JFK cost from Westchester?
Between $140 and $220 depending on your town, and every figure is in the list above. Tarrytown is $140, White Plains $160, Peekskill $200, North Salem $220. Tolls are inside the number and it is the same coming back.
How long does it take to get to JFK?
Fifty minutes to an hour and a half from most of Westchester, with the far north at the top of that range. The Van Wyck is the variable, which is why we build in a cushion rather than assuming a clear run.
Do you wait if my flight is delayed?
Yes, and there is no charge for it. We track the flight, so a late landing moves the pickup time and changes nothing else — not the price, not the booking.
Where does the driver meet me at JFK?
Your driver texts you the exact door and column at your terminal once you have landed, and waits in the authorised pickup area. If you would rather be met inside at baggage claim with a name board, ask on the call.
How much should I tip the driver?
Entirely up to you — nothing is added automatically and the quoted price is complete without it. Most people who want to tip give ten to twenty percent, and it is always welcome rather than expected.
Are tolls really included?
Yes. Every bridge and tunnel between your door and the terminal is inside the figure, in both directions. Nothing is added at the end of the ride.
How do I book?
Call or text 914-564-7013 with your address, date and flight. No app, no account, no card kept on file. A person answers and the price is agreed on that call.
