Car Service to LaGuardia Airport — What It Costs from Your Town

LaGuardia is the shortest airport run we do outside the county itself, and the prices reflect that — it is cheaper than Kennedy from every single town in Westchester. All forty-eight figures are below, they are flat, and every toll on the route is already counted inside them.

Southern Westchester pays the Tarrytown price to LaGuardia, because those towns are already closer to it than our base is. North of the county the rate climbs at three dollars a mile, rounded to the nearest ten.

The problem

You look up how to reach LaGuardia by train from Westchester, and find out there is no way to do it.

What it costs you

Kennedy has the AirTrain and Newark has its own station, so both are reachable on rails if you are willing to change three times. LaGuardia has nothing — no rail link of any kind. What you find instead is advice involving a train to Manhattan, then a subway across, then a bus, with luggage, for a flight. Or you drive yourself and pay for parking that costs more across a week than the ride does. By the time most people work this out, it is the night before and they are booking whatever is available at whatever it costs.

What we do instead

Book the car when you book the flight. It is forty minutes door to terminal from most of the county, the price is on this page, and it does not move because you left it late.

Terminals A, B and C

LaGuardia Airport Transportation — Which Terminal, Which Door

LaGuardia is three terminals now, and after the rebuild they are far enough apart that arriving at the wrong one is a genuine problem rather than a short walk. Terminal A is the small Marine Air Terminal, Terminal B handles most carriers, and Terminal C is Delta. Tell us the airline when you book and the driver takes you to the right frontage.

Coming back, the pickup rules at LaGuardia are stricter than most people expect — private cars cannot simply pull up at arrivals. Your driver texts you the exact level and door to walk to and waits in the authorised area. It is a two-minute walk rather than a hunt, provided you know where you are going before you set off, which is the whole point of sending it in writing.

Overnight is ordinary work here. LaGuardia’s first departures leave before six and its last arrivals land close to midnight, and both cost the same as a Tuesday afternoon.

The honest timings

LaGuardia Car Service — The Grand Central and Your Real Travel Time

From most of Westchester the run is thirty-five minutes to an hour, which makes LaGuardia comfortably the quickest of the three. The route is the Hutchinson down to the Whitestone Bridge and along the Grand Central Parkway, or the Deegan and the RFK if the eastern side is struggling. That choice is made on the day by the driver, not by an app the night before.

The Grand Central Parkway approach is the pinch point, and it behaves differently from the Van Wyck — it clogs hard at predictable hours rather than at random. Weekday mornings between seven and nine and the late-afternoon window are when it costs you real time, so bookings in those windows leave earlier by default.

From the far north of the county — Peekskill, Katonah, North Salem — add genuine time before you even reach the Bronx. Those runs are usually the ones where people underestimate the departure by half an hour.

The awkward hours
LGA Airport Car Service for Early Departures and Late Landings

LaGuardia runs a heavy schedule of early business flights, and the 6am out of Terminal C is the booking people misjudge. Two hours at the airport plus fifty minutes on the road means a car from White Plains leaves around 3:10 in the morning. We do that arithmetic on the call so you are not doing it at bedtime.

  • 1Give us the flight, not a timeWe work backwards from your departure and tell you when the car comes.

Coming home

LaGuardia Airport Car Service — Meeting Your Flight Home

The return leg is where LaGuardia’s lack of a rail link really bites. You land at eleven at night, and the only options are a car or a very long evening. That is exactly when app pricing is at its worst and when a sixty-mile run north is least attractive to whoever is nearby.

Booked with us, the car is assigned before you take off. We watch the flight, so a delay moves your pickup time and changes nothing else — no waiting charge, no rebooking, no difference to the price. LaGuardia back to your town costs exactly what the outbound cost.

Tell the dispatcher whether you are checking bags. LaGuardia’s carousels are quick by New York standards, so the meet is usually timed tighter here than at Kennedy. If you need a car at no notice rather than a booking made in advance, the Westchester taxi board covers the same towns on the same rates.

Quick answers

LaGuardia Airport Transfer — Quick Answers

How early should I get to LaGuardia?

Two hours before a domestic departure is the standard advice and LaGuardia is busy enough to justify it, particularly in Terminal B. Give us the flight time when you book and we work the pickup back from it, including the drive and a cushion for the Grand Central.

How much does car service to LaGuardia cost from Westchester?

Between $130 and $210 depending on your town, and every figure is listed above. Tarrytown is $130, White Plains $150, Peekskill $190, North Salem $210. Tolls are inside the number and it is the same coming back.

Can I get to LaGuardia by train from Westchester?

No. LaGuardia has no rail connection at all — unlike Kennedy and Newark. Any route by public transport means a train into the city, a subway across and then a bus, which is why almost everyone travelling from this county drives or books a car.

How long does it take to get to LaGuardia?

Thirty-five minutes to an hour from most of Westchester, which makes it the quickest of the three big airports from here. The far north of the county adds meaningful time before you reach the bridge.

Do you wait if my flight is delayed?

Yes, and there is no charge for it. We track the flight, so a late landing moves the pickup time and nothing else — not the price, not the booking.

Where does the driver meet me at LaGuardia?

Your driver texts the exact level and door at your terminal and waits in the authorised pickup area. Private cars cannot wait at arrivals here, so knowing where to walk before you land saves the most time.

Are tolls really included?

Yes. The Whitestone, the Throgs Neck, the RFK — whichever the driver uses, it is already inside the figure, in both directions.

How do I book?

Call or text 914-564-7013 with your address, date and flight. No app, no account, no card kept on file. A person answers and the price is agreed on that call.
